Waking Night Staff - If one of our young people wakes up during the night, you’ll be there to check that everything’s alright. To do your best, you’ll need to build good relationships with our young people and be fully supported by sleeping in staff, who will be on hand to assist if needed during the night.   Through the night our Waking Night Staff keep administration up to date and the home clean and tidy. You will also complete building checks and keep the house safe at night.
 
Ideally, you’ll have experience in a similar role. However, we welcome applications from people with other experience. With our specialist training and supportive team, you’ll soon be a skilled professional, as long as you’re calm in a crisis, resilient and committed to first-class care. If you’re a natural night owl that is happy to work unsociable hours and can be flexible, we would like to hear from you.
 
You will be required to complete, within 2 years, a Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (England) (if you don’t have this or an equivalent already). You must also have a full UK driving license and have held this for a minimum of 12 months.
 
This role requires you to work across our children’s homes in the Horbury, Castleford and Bradford areas.
